Michelle Alexander brings over a decade of experience in Senior Housing to Prestonwood Court. In addition to her knowledge and expertise, she shares a deep compassion and desire to help seniors.
Michelle is proud to be a native Texan. She attended the University of North Texas, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Her career path changed in 2003 when she discovered her true passion was working with seniors. “I love getting to know our residents and their families. They are like an extension of my own family.” Michelle has a solid record of building strong teams that are dedicated to the community and the families we serve. She takes pride and integrity in providing quality services and resources for our residents.
She loves to travel and is an outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities including camping, gardening, hiking, four wheeling, fishing, scuba diving and snow skiing. If she is inside, you will most likely find her reading a good book.
Michelle lives in Sherman with her husband. They have four adult children and three grandsons. She loves sharing her love for the outdoors with her grandchildren.
As Director of Sales and Marketing, Jeannette Juett's experience and vast knowledge of the many facets of senior living comes from the many different roles she's served in the senior industry over the past 10+ years. In fact, her first job when she was only 14 was working as a server at an Independent Living Community. She worked as a community liaison and then as a business office director. Most recently she was a Regional Sales Director.
Jeannette has been incredibly excited to find her home here at Prestonwood Court. Prior to the senior industry, Jeannette's work in the medical field provided her with with insights to the different concerns seniors face with their health each day. Jeannette is a strong advocate for families and prospective residents trying to better understand what next steps are in their future.
Jeannette grew up in Richardson, TX and was always very involved in theater, choir and dance as a child. Her grandmother suffered from Parkinson’s and Dementia and she spent many of her weekends performing at the Skilled Nursing Facility where she lived. Her love of the spotlight led her to major in Theater at Stephen F. Austin State University. She is fascinated by people and loves to hear people’s stories and learn how they have persevered through the different obstacles in their lives. She enjoys traveling to cool coastal areas like Oregon, Maine, and Ireland whenever she can get away. She enjoys hosting gatherings in her home and spending time with her family and friends.
Jeannette lives in Frisco, TX with her son, Jax. She takes great pride in being a good mother and is proud that her son also has a passion for helping people and being around seniors. He finds great joy in coming up to Prestonwood Court and spending time with all of his “adopted” grandparents!
As Resident Care Director at Prestonwood Court, Susan Taylor is uniquely qualified to support family and resident needs. With over 20 years in telecommunications management, Susan also has a BS in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University. She spent time at the Parkland Intensive Care Unit and GI Lab before entering the field of Elder Care. Her enthusiasm, energy and compassion for serving seniors compliments her quality coordination in the care of Prestonwood Court residents. Susan lives in Plano with her husband and has two sons, the youngest is a graduate of Texas A&M University who now lives in Charlotte, NC, and the eldest son is an Air Force officer who recently completed his fifth deployment to Iraq.

As Leasing Representative at Prestonwood Court, Krista Miranda knows how to make Prestonwood Court feel like home. She's a mother of five and spent 15 years as a homemaker before working at Prestonwood Court. Her emphasis on family is a perfect fit for a community that thrives on keeping residents connected with their loved ones.
Krista began as a receptionist and grew to love the residents and families which created a natural transition into marketing and leasing. She loves to share with potential residents how wonderful, active and socially engaging life can be in our community. With a positive approach and can-do attitude, Krista has endeared herself to the many residents and families she serves.
Krista grew up in Greenville, South Carolina and has lived 18 different places! In her spare time she enjoys adventure and play, including kickball and skydiving.
Our Move-In Coordinator, Lisa Marlow, came to Prestonwood Court because of her love of seniors.
With a background in Sales and Accounting, Lisa loves working with people. "I have gotten so much pleasure helping residents settle into their new home and making friends. At the end of each day it's great to look back and feel that I've made a difference in someone's life."
Lisa graduated from UTD with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She lives in Fairview with her husband, Jeff. They have a son who attends Lovejoy HS. They also have four grown children and two granddaughters.
Mary Ann was drawn to life enrichment for seniors following several years of caring for her father and later her mother in-law. The honor of spending this time with her family brought her special insight into what is both relevant and meaningful to the members of the community she serves.
Embracing all aspects of lifestyle including social, community, intellectual, vocational, spiritual, emotional, fitness, and nutritional brings her joy when she sees happy people living full lives.
She says, "Being among people who are connecting with others, doing things that bring them happiness, and living their lives with ease and dignity is a source of fulfillment. What a wonderful way to live, work, and play."
Mary Ann enjoys serving as part of a team that is moving in the same direction, collaborating and valuing what each person brings to the process.
Her husband, Ron, was born and grew up in the Fort Worth area and raised his two daughters there. Mary Ann has a son in Florida who is a veteran. They have four granddaughters and one grandson. Mary Ann and Ron moved to Florida for a few years and are now happy to be back in Dallas.
Richard has been around the janitorial/construction business for most of his life. His parents owned a janitorial company which he began working in at the age of 8. By the time he graduated from high school, he was managing the family business. He credits his father for teaching him everything about electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring and all aspects of construction. In fact, Richard and his parents currently live in the homes they built together.With a background that includes highway construction work in East Texas, lead custodian for an elementary school, followed by 7 years work as a general contractor, and another 5 years as Maintenance Supervisor at Lakepoint Medical Center in Rockwall... Richard is well-suited for his important position as Prestonwood Court's Facilities Director.Says Richard, "The knowledge I've gained over the years has prepared me well for my job here at Prestonwood Court. Keeping our community clean, safe and running well for each Resident is most important. I came here knowing how to run a building. What I did not know and have been blessed to learn, is how the residents become like family to me. I learn from them every day and can say that this is the most rewarding place I've ever worked."Richard lives in Combine, TX, with his wife Sarah and his granddaughter Kaitlyn, the apple of his eye. He enjoys playing guitar, singing, fishing and a variety of four-wheeled mechanical projects.
Janet McCroy, grew up in West Texas and moved with her family to the Dallas area after graduation from high school in Lubbock. She attended Mountain View Community College and went into property management in 1975, working for the next nine years managing 120 town homes for Irwin R. Rose and Company.In 1984, Janet retired to take on her full-time pursuit as a stay at home mom to raise her family. Her return to the workforce in 2000 introduced her to senior living, working nine years as Business Office Manager for a Dallas area retirement community. She brought her wealth of management experience to Prestonwood Court Assisted Living in 2009.Janet lives in Frisco with her husband Marvin McCroy. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Janet is a Koi enthusiast and animal lover.
Shaun Hanna is the Dining Services Director at Prestonwood Court in Plano Texas. He attended the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. After his fifteen-year career as an Executive Chef, Shaun moved to North Dallas, where he accepted a Dining Services Position in Dallas. In addition to cooking, Shaun enjoys computer programming for Christmas lights and is an enthusiastic Browns fan. He resides in McKinney Texas with his wife Cheryl, son Greyson and their dog Fiona.
